CarnevaLöa 2020 – Cerimonia di consegna delle chiavi della città

Porterà con sé tante fantastiche novità la 29^ edizione del CarnevaLöa, la grande manifestazione carnevalesca organizzata dall’associazione Vecchia Loano con il contributo dell’assessorato a turismo, cultura e sport del Comune di Loano.

L’apertura della manifestazione si terrà domenica 26 gennaio in piazza Italia con la consueta cerimonia della “consegna delle chiavi” della città da parte del sindaco di Loano, Luigi Pignocca, al Beciancin (maschera ufficiale del Carnevaloa) e alle altre maschere Capitan Fracassa (maschera ligure della Commedia dell’Arte), Puè Pepin (il Re del Carnevale) e la Principessa Doria del Castello (la cui interprete è stata eletta la scorsa estate durante il concorso di Miss Riviera delle Palme, organizzato sempre da Vecchia Loano). Alla cerimonia partecipano numerose maschere provenienti, oltre che dalla Liguria, anche da Piemonte, Lombardia ed Emilia.

Quest’anno la “consegna delle chiavi” fa parte di “U Carleva da vallâ”, il grande carnevale comprensoriale organizzato da Vecchia Loano, dal Forum Culturale di Borghetto, dalla Pro Loco di Toirano con il patrocinio dei comuni di Borghetto Santo Spirito, Loano, Toirano e Balestrino. La manifestazione inizierà sabato 25 gennaio a Balestrino: a partire dalle 10 le delegazioni carnevalesche si ritroveranno presso le Antiche Scuderie del Marchese; dopo il saluto del sindaco Gabriella Ismarro verrà presentata la nuova maschera locale, U Cavigiottu; seguirà il saluto alle maschere e alle delegazioni presenti e l’accensione della fiaccola del carnevale comprensoriale. Alle 12.30 circa le maschere si sposteranno a Toirano: dopo il saluto del sindaco Giuseppe De Fezza verrà presentata la nuova maschera toiranese, U Trumbettè, e avverrà il passaggio della fiaccola. Dopo la pausa pranzo si terrà la sfilata delle maschere e delle delegazioni per il centro storico.

“U Carleva da vallâ” proseguirà domenica 26 gennaio: alle 10 maschere e delegazioni si ritroveranno in piazza Enrico Fermi a Borghetto; seguirà la sfilata verso piazza Libertà, che ospiterà il saluto del sindaco Giancarlo Canepa e la presentazione delle maschere locali (U Cillu, la Principessa Perseghina e Cianta Coi) con il passaggio della fiaccola. Dopo il pranzo la manifestazione si sposterà a Loano: alle 14.45 i partecipanti si ritroveranno in piazza Italia per il saluto del sindaco Luigi Pignocca, la presentazione delle maschere locali (Capitan Fracassa, Puè Pepin e la Principessa Doria del Castello) ed il passaggio della fiaccola. Alle 15.30 ci sarà poi la sfilata in centro storico.
