Saturday, November 21, a Loano, to the 4 p.m., at Council Chamber in Doria Palace, the presentation of the book “My name is Daniela” of Franca Benedusi, organized by the’UNITRE of Loano under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.
“My name is Daniela” is a compelling story of women, protagonists and victims of an often merciless world.
The starting point of the book is the chance meeting on a Ligurian beach of two women, Pina and Daniela, who decide to tell their stories, to relive in narrative their lives: the joys, hopes, and dramas of an entire existence.
The book won the third prize, in the published fiction section, of the “Castel Govone Award” in Finale Ligure.
The meeting with the author will be led by. Umberta Galati Bolognese, UNITRE president of Loano.
Franca Benedusi, a writer from Alba, has reached her sixth work with this latest work.
She has won numerous awards throughout Italy with “The New Moon is Hidden” (GRIFL Publisher, 2003, Cairo Montenotte), “And the Moon Appears” (GRIFL Publisher, 2004, Cairo Montenotte). In 2009 she published the novel “Egle's War” (Araba Fenice Editions) and in 2013, also from Araba Fenice, the novel “Lunetta's Women” was published.
In 2013 he collected all his short stories with some unpublished ones in the volume “The First Moons” (Araba Fenice).
