The parks

What is more relaxing than enjoying the cool shade given by the trees of a green park? What’s more fun than playing with our children (or grandchildren) on the rides? Who, among the most sporty, doesn’t love doing physical activity in the open air and keeping fit with a few simple exercises, perhaps to be done in company? The parks of Loano offer these and many other possibilities.

In Loano, children can “go wild” in various parks equipped with lots of games and rides, to experience different adventures every day: Parco Pollin in Corso Roma, next to Palazzo Kursaal; the Agostino Rocca Park, near the Post Office, a short walk from the city centre; the park in the square in Verzi; the play area in via Pirandello. Parco Leone Grossi also has a small cycle path and an area for skating where you can practice in complete tranquillity. Furthermore, in the summer months, entertainment shows for all ages are regularly held in the park in the evening.

Modern equipment has been installed in the Don Leone Grossi Park and in the Rose Park with which it is possible to perform many calisthenics exercises, ideal for keeping fit even on holiday. A third open-air gym, perfect for training at all ages, is located on the promenade (near the Vallino Archivolt). Those who love basketball, on the other hand, cannot help but stop by the two basketball courts in via Isonzo and via San Giuseppe.

Finally, in the summer months (from mid-June to the end of August) in via Alba there is a fantastic Luna Park with numerous attractions: from the most daring rides to more relaxed ones suitable for the whole family, without forgetting target shooting, fishing for geese and so on and so forth.
