Thursday, May 11 “Loano not only sea”, excursion program curated by the Loano section of the C.A.I.. under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Loano will offer the opportunity to participate in the Semi-urban trekking in Savigliano.
“This week's trip will be conducted by bus," explains Beppe Peretti, CAI hiking guide - but since the available places have been sold out for a few days, there is the possibility, for those who still want to participate, to arrange and organize some private cars that will reach independently Savigliano.
The day's program includes arrival in Savigliano around 9:30 am. We will visit the town the historic center, palaces and churches. Then with a leisurely walk of a couple of hours we will cross the town park to reach the right bank of the Maira stream. We will walk along the dirt pedestrian and bicycle path that runs along it for about 5-6 km. A lunch break will follow.
