It is renewed Sunday, September 24 the appointment with “September Green at Loano”, sponsored by the’Department of Environment of the City of Loano in collaboration with the CEA - Centro Educazione Ambientale Ponente Savonese (Western Savona Environmental Education Center)..
The free excursion with an environmental guide will take place on the historical-naturalistic route “Educational trail from the sea to the bush to the cork oak forest”.
The meeting will be in Maccagli Garden on the waterfront at 4:30 pm, in front of the billboard with the itineraries of “Loano outdoor.” The hike, about 3 hours long and with an elevation gain of about 200 meters, will slowly leave the built-up area to gain the panoramic hill above the harbor, among the scents of the Mediterranean scrub. It will then continue into the forest, until it reaches the heights between Loano and Ranzi and cross a cork oak forest, a characteristic and unusual environment. Return to Loano is scheduled for 7:30 pm. During the hike, the guide will explain the special features of the area in terms of history, geography and nature.The route contains various insights and curiosities, which is why it has been called an “educational itinerary” as part of “Loano outdoor.”.
