“We have now reached the fourth edition of our association's most important event," explains the president of the Association. Eusebio Busè – “A Day for Us,” a day dedicated to sports and fun, but above all, a day when boating is made available to people with disabilities, children, young people, and their families. The event involves the participation of boat owners who will make their boats available free of charge. Last year, participation exceeded our expectations: more than 40 boats took to the sea, like a large fleet flying the Hakuna Matata flag, carrying over a hundred children, and in the afternoon, more than 400 young people performed. The aim is always to promote interaction and exchange with the intention of publicizing the SARA Support for Autistic Children project, which for four years has been taking children and young people out to sea accompanied by their parents or qualified staff. We have a boat called “Adagio Blu” that we use to provide group experiences to discover the sea and its wonders, all with the aim of stimulating emotional intelligence in children with difficulties in communication, play, and socialization with others.”
