Continued at Loano the second edition of the festival dedicated to documentary films on the environment and landscape, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and organized by the I.So THeatre, in collaboration with the CAI of Loano.
Tuesday, July 26, to 9:30 pm, in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, the video “The Parks of Liguria -- through the eyes of raptors”, produced by the Liguria Region.
The audiovisual, the result of two years of intense work, is signed by Lodovico Prola, an expert documentary filmmaker. Cutting-edge technical resources such as spectacular and comprehensive 3D graphics, combined with extensive knowledge of nature and the collaboration of many experts, have made it possible to create a harmonious combination of images and sounds that beautifully illustrates the complexity and beauty of Liguria.
Regal and majestic, the golden eagle, found in some Ligurian parks, is both reporter and narrator of the audiovisual production created by the Ligurian Parks System (Antola, Ligurian Alps, Aveto, Beigua, Bric Tana, Montemarcello-Magra, Piana Crixia, Portofino, and Porto Venere), led by the Montemarcello-Magra Park and supervised by the Liguria Region.
The flight of the eagle starts from the far western sector, flies over the main watershed, the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, reaches the border with Tuscany, passing the baton to other emblematic birds of prey. The narrator's voice simply shows how amazing Liguria's biodiversity is. Together with Piedmont and Abruzzo, it is the only region that can boast the simultaneous presence of three biogeographical regions (Alpine, continental, and Mediterranean).
Admission is free.
