Saturday, November 7, a Loano, to the 4 p.m., at Council Chamber in Doria Palace, the presentation of poetry collections by Father Enzo Canozzi, organized by the’UNITRE of Loano under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.
Father Enzo Canozzi, born in Magliano (Lucca) was ordained a priest in 1970. He was a missionary in the Central African Republic for more than 35 years, starting in 1971. During this time he helped establish more than 30 schools, convinced that ignorance is the cause of poverty. He paid special attention to women's training centers, agricultural schooling, and training young people through work.
He has published several books including “Marveling in Africa”, which was awarded the Special Prize of the International Competition the “Molinello” for fiction, and with Velar Publishers he has given to print three collections of poems: “White heron wings”, “Africa...almost light almost poetry”, “Embraced to life”.
The poetic texts will be read by Fulvio Novero and conducting the author interview will be by Betty Bolognesi.
