Sunday, September 13, a Loano, to the 9 p.m., in the’Oratory Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, will be held the piano concert of the Maestro Federico Pulina, who will perform pieces from the “Spirito Gentil” series commissioned by Don Giussani.
The evening is part of the side events of the exhibition “From my life to yours”, dedicated to Fr. Luigi Giussani (1922/2005) and set up in Doria Palace until Sept. 13 p.m..
The initiative is organized, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the death of the Desio priest, by the “St. Francis Mary of Camporosso Solidarity Bank”, in collaboration with Communion and Liberation, I.SO Social Cooperative and under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The “Spirito Gentil” series, founded in 1997, for thirteen years offered a selection of songs and a body of writings by Giussani himself as well as critics, musicologists and composers.
Federico Pulina, a pupil of Anna Revel, professor of piano at the Sassari Conservatory of Music, has distinguished himself in a number of prestigious prizes and in 2011 he performed as soloist at the Storchi Theater in Modena together with the youth orchestra “Marija Judina” in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 K 488.
