After the success of “Don't Fly Away,” long on Italy's bestseller list, Sara Rattaro is once again in the literary spotlight with a powerful and intense novel that knows how to get close to readers' hearts.

At the heart of the book is the theme of international child abduction: the stories of those children who, born of binational marriages, in the event of separation, are often abducted and removed from one of their parents. The protagonists are a father, Francesco, and a daughter, Margherita, who are reunited after a separation of many years, when she is now a teenager. The mother, when Margherita was a child, had left for a trip to Denmark, her homeland, taking the child with her, never returning and never allowing Francesco to see her again. Francis thought it was just a trip. He never thought he would experience the worst nightmare of his life.

Yet now that Margaret is with him again, it is difficult to mend what was so long ago broken. Francis is faced with a teenager who feels wrong. Because at school she is isolated from her classmates and at home she spends her days locked in her room. But Francis day after day searches for the road to her heart. A road made up of small, shared memories that resurface...

The book presentation will be accompanied by the musical notes of Maestro Roberto Sinito.

The meeting will close with a aperitif.
