It will be inaugurated in Loano, Saturday, June 17, the new musical season of the “The Turchini Concerts, organized by the Brotherhood of the Turks' Chapels under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

The program of sacred music concerts will feature the’Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary with the precious gallery of works by great artists of the centuries.

Kicking off the review “The Musics of the Soul.” will be the recital of Pier Narciso Masi announced at 9 p.m..

The concert program, dedicated to the classical sonata to the threshold of romanticism, will span the works of composers F.J. Haydn, W.A. Mozart, L.van Beethoven.

The evening will open with the Sonata in G major no. 6 by Franz Joseph Haydn which will be followed by the Sonata K330 in C major. by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The second part of the concert will be devoted to the performance of the  Sonata op. 57 “Appassionata” by Ludwig van Beethoven.

Pier Narciso Masi is one of the very rare pianists who has explored every aspect of the piano, from chamber music to solo activity, with a particular fondness for classical composers.

He was a student of Carlo Zecchi and Guido Agosti. A winner of major international competitions at a very young age, he completed his musical training through classical and composition studies with Roberto Lupi.

To his concert experience, gained over many years of activity all over the world, Masi combines his teaching activity carried out in seminars and courses over many years at important music academies throughout Europe, the U.S. and Japan. He has played in recitals, with chamber groups, collaborating with internationally renowned musicians and with orchestras for the most prestigious musical institutions around the world, bringing back great public and critical acclaim everywhere. He has recorded for RCA, Naxos, Pan and numerous radio and TV recordings in Italy and abroad.

The evening is free admission.

 The sacred music review “The Musics of the Soul.” will continue until the January 6, 2016 with four concerts.

Always at 9 p.m., the August 28, will be the guest of the’Oratory the violin and organ duo Lina Uinskyte e Marco Ruggeri. There are two concerts scheduled in the month of September: the 16 “Voice and Guitar Recital” will be held with Micol Pisanu - Francesca Riva and the 23 you will be able to appreciate the “Recital for Two Harpsichords” with Marco Gaggini and Gianluca Rovelli.

The review will close as is now tradition on the January 6, 2018 with the “Epiphany Concert” by the The Arches of Zinaida, who will play in the afternoon at 16,45.
