In the bridge of the June 2 Loano will offer the opportunity to experience a day outdoors discovering the beauty of the area and its traditions and to taste some local cuisine specialties.
Alongside the official celebrations of the Republic Day, the long weekend will open on June 2 with the excursion to the Mount Carmo and the 51st Flower Festival at Mount Carmo Refuge, organized under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano
Those who would like to participate in the hike to Mount Carmo, organized by the Loanese Section of the C.A.I. under the program Loano not only sea, should be in Toirano in front of the former Pedagogical Institute with their own car at 8 a.m.
The free CAI-guided excursion will start from Giogo di Toirano and along the Alta Via die Monti Liguri will reach Monte Carmo and from here the Pian delle Bosse refuge, at mt 841 asl, where the Flower Festival organized by the Friends of the Carmo.
At 11 will take place the Holy Mass and then the celebration will continue with a social lunch.
