Saturday, May 13, a Loano, the XXII City of Loano Swimming Meet., organized by the Doria Swimming Company 2000 Loano, with contributions from the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and the sponsorship of FIN and CONI.
The sports event, scheduled to take place in the Olympic outdoor pool at the E. Garassini Sports Hall, will be reserved this year only for the categories Rookies A and B.
“The City of Loano Meeting," explains the technical director of Doria Swimming. Roberto Po - changes face this year to meet the needs highlighted throughout the year by the many sports clubs in the sector. In fact, the world championship scheduled to be held in Budapest in July has altered the national and international calendar making May and June two busy months for the Boys, Juniors and Absolute categories. At Loano the Beginners A and B categories will meet again for an important test that will measure the level of preparation of the young athletes.”
They will be 18 the companies, from Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria, who will compete for the Lovese trophy. In all, the following will be engaged in the pool 448 athletes for a total of 1367 race attendance.

The credit goes to the Doria Nuoto 2000 Loano Society, which for more than 20 years, with perseverance and tenacity, has been committed to bringing to life an event that combines the strong competitive spirit with the highest values of sport.”
The event will go into full swing at 9:30 a.m. and will continue in the afternoon from 3 p.m..
The Rookies A will compete in the distances of 50, 100, 200 Freestyle, 100 and 200 Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly and 200 Mixed, while Rookies B will face all races (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly) over the distances of 50 and 100.
