Tuesday, May 9, a Loano, the Pentagonal Tower, next to the Doria Palace, will host the presentation of the book “The secret of the mountains“ (2016, Araba Fenice), organized by the CAI Loano under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.
At 9 p.m., the author of the novel Gianfranco Suda, through stories and images, will convey his passion for the mountains, supported by a photo projection curated by friends of the Cuneo Trekking website.
“The secret of the mountains“ is a detective story that takes place in the mountains on the border between Italy and France. A fascinating intrigue, the novel mixes a passion for cycling and the abduction of a famous child. The adventurous search for the little one is the center of the narrative, peppered with mountain and cycling wisdom. A book of suspense and fantasy-politics, where the love of high peaks is intertwined with the dramas and issues of the modern world.
Gianfranco Suda Was born in Carrù in 1950. After finishing his studies in Turin, he moved to the Cuneo area where he still lives in Borgo San Dalmazzo. An inveterate biker and hiking enthusiast, he published two mountain bike guides on the Ligurian, Maritime and Cottian Alps in 2003 and 2010. Rich in these experiences he published with Araba Fenice his first novel “The secret of the mountains”.
