Thursday, May 4 is scheduled, in Loano, A new hike for outdoor walking enthusiasts. The weekly destination of the program “Loano not only sea”, curated by the Loano section of the C.A.I.. under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Loano, will be the Mount High Inland from Quliano.
The meeting for participants is at 8:30 a.m. In the Valerga Square parking lot, possibly with your own car.
“Given last year's good and positive experience at Mt. Greppino," explains Beppe Peretti, CAI hiking companion of Loano - we re-propose a joint outing with friends of the La Rocca di Quiliano Group, who will lead us this year to the “conquest” of Mt. High.
The walking tour will start from the locality called Rocche Bianche. We will initially walk along a section of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, with a dirt road that from Rocche Bianche will reach the La Tagliata glue, penetrating into the thick of the Baggiani beech forest, also known as the “Fairies” Forest.".
Our itinerary will then continue along the La Rocca trail (so named in honor of the group that rediscovered and upgraded it) until we reach the summit cippus, also placed by our friends at La Rocca. “
