PRESS RELEASE (6/2/2017)
Tuesday, Feb. 7, a Loano, to the 4:30 pm, at the Mondadori Bookstore will kick off the “AFTERNOONS OF STORIES, BOOKS ... AND TALK.” organized under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.
The series of animated readings, which will run from February to May, is aimed at children ages 3 to 8. The activities, with free admission, will range from readings, themed workshops and games, with the inevitable presence of a small snack.
“The purpose of the initiative,” the organizers explain, "is to introduce children to the world of reading with fun pastimes and to create a meeting point for our young fellow citizens during a time of year that offers fewer opportunities for recreation."
The review will open with the “Anti-Monster Afternoon” with a reading and workshop entitled “We scare the monsters.“.
After the reading and snack, children will build their own “anti-monster talisman” (two drawings on a piece of cardboard that, spun quickly, will give the optical illusion of a single image). In addition, children will be taught to build a bookmark cat (another powerful anti-monster described in the book).
The review will continue in February with the following program: the 15 reading and workshop “The 4 Seasons”, the 23 will be proposed the afternoon “Augh - Let's play Indians” and the 28 children will be led into the world “Masks in the theater”.
