It was held this morning in the Municipal Police Command of Loano, meeting with volunteers from the pedibus service, promoted by the’Municipal Police Department and coordinated by theP.M. Command. in collaboration with the’School Department and with the Valerga and Milanesi Primary School.
At the meeting, which was attended by numerous grandparents, moms, dads and Loano associations -the objectives of the service and how it is carried out were explained, with the intent of recruit new volontari Available to walk children to school.
The meeting was attended by Councillor for Municipal Police. Enrica Rocca, the Vice Mayor and Councillor for Schools. Luca Lettieri, the Commander of the Municipal Police. Louis Soro and the superintendent of the Municipal Police. Marilena Marinelli.
The pedibus service will kick off the October 3. Three pedibus lines will be activated for the Valerga School and 2 lines for the Milanesi School. The task of the Command will be to train the chaperones and supervise the routes. Children will meet every day at the collection point of the 5 routes and form a snake that will reach the school entrance. The stops have been marked with signs made by the pupils themselves.
To make this service work last year, the contribution of 39 volunteersthat every day accompanied a Hundreds of girls and boys at school.
