Awarded last night in Loano the most beautiful sand castles of 30th edition by Architects in the Grass, competition organized by the’Department of Sports, Tourism and Culture in collaboration with the’State Property Department and the SIB (Italian Balneari Syndicate) of Loano.
The initiative, which involved 241 children, is confirmed as a major event of the Loano summer. In the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, as of 9 p.m, awards evening was held accompanied by the entertainment of the I.so Theatre.
“Grande successo anche quest’anno – dice l’Assessore Remo Zaccaria – per l’iniziativa Architetti in Erba che ha festeggiato i trent’anni di vita, dimostrando ancora una volta di essere una iniziativa che possiede grande vitalità. Ogni anno grazie ai bambini l’entusiasmo è sempre alto, così come il gradimento da parte delle famiglie presenti sulle spiagge loanesi. I piccoli architetti con la loro creatività hanno saputo trasformare la sabbia e l’acqua in originali opere d’arte.”
Under the flagpoles of the blue flag, che sventola anche quest’anno sulle spiagge loanesi, sono state realizzate 53 works. In all, the following have joined 18 bathing establishments. A large number of children (190) from the Solar Camp of Loano Municipality and the Little Work participated.
The works were judged by the committee chaired by Alderman Remo Zaccaria And by the head of the sports office Rita Calcagno.
The first prize went to the Saitta Bathrooms for the work “Da quassù la terra è bellissima senza frontiere ne confini” made by Martina Bardone, Irene Ganasi, Paolo Forsellini, Federica Drovetto, Ottavia Ghezzi, Alessandro Peirano.
Al secondo posto si è classificato il castello “Air Show” realizzato nei Bagni Marina Piccola” da Ebe Paolo, Marco, Beatrice, Francesco, Matteo, Martina.
The third place it was the opera's turn “Poseidon” built in the Varesina Beach by the very young architects Simona Vero, Carlotta Roviera, Andrea Porrino Vero, Filippo Santagata, Tommaso Santagata, Alessio Santagata.
