Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, Italy Square, a Loano, returns to be the stage of the review “Loano rages for artists in the square.”, promoted by the’Department of Social Services of the City of Loano and organized by the’Society of the Curious Association under the project Storytelling workshop.

For two days The large square in front of Palazzo Doria will host events dedicated to “street circus”. Stilt walkers, tightrope walkers, jugglers, trapeze artists will engage the public with workshops and performances of balancing and juggling.

Saturday, May 21 the first of two events will take place. The exhibition will kick off at 3:30 pm, the Circus workshop edited by Uncertain Circus.

Children can try their hand at juggling (balls, plates, hoops, diablo, handkerchiefs, bolas, etc.) and balancing (ball, roller, tightrope) exercises. They will also be able to measure their courage with exercises on the aerial trapeze. Uncertain Circus, this is the name of the circus duo, was born from the professional union, and more, of Simone Peretti e Valentina Zingaro. He, an educator specializing in circus arts at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, She, an artist skilled in artistic makeup and circus arts, together form a duo that ranges from teaching to animation.

At 5:30 pm, the show “From Boof” of the Duo Kaos, an Italian-Guatemalan company. This entirely musical circus-theater comedy performance will combine contemporary circus with physical theater in a highly original way. The audience will be swept up in a whirlwind of laughter through a plot full of twists and turns and circus antics. Duo Kaos is composed of Giulia Arcangeli e Luis Paredes.

Giulia Arcangeli, contemporary circus artist specializing in vertical and agile rope of acrobatics and porter. Since 2008, he has worked with various traditional circuses, contemporary circus companies and festivals around the world. Luis Paredes, street artist and juggler, began his studies in Guatemala and then went on to study various disciplines in Italy and South America. His specialties range from acrobatic pouring, roue cyr, and acrobatic bicycle riding.

Sunday, May 22 the events of “Loano rages for artists in the square”will be divided between Italy Square e Palestro Square. At 3:45 p.m., Italy Square will host a stage of the Living Circus festival promoted by Cirko Vertigo of Turin.

Some of the most beautiful and daring aerial performances are the stars of the show. “Circus vertigo”: the aerial hoop, Chinese pole, and vertical rope will all keep heads turned upward to watch acrobats and tightrope walkers, trapeze artists and jugglers flying through free interpretations of movement and poetry. In an unexpected game that contrasts past and future, the artists will enchant the audience in a suspended atmosphere that blends and sublimates the main disciplines at height.

The show will be divided into acts, and during the interval there will be a show within the show. At 4:30 pm in Palestro Square you can watch the performance “Bingo Show” by Gianluca Repetto. The street performer Bingo, this is his stage name, will present a show in which juggling, magic, and clowning will be intertwined with balancing acts, acrobatic cycling, and improvisation.
