Venerdì 4 dicembre, Loano lights up Christmas with the A Thousand Lights of the Holidays, iniziativa promossa dall’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
La festa prenderà il via alle ore 14.00, in Italy Square, e coinvolgerà gli alunni dell’Comprehensive Institute Loano-Boissano Who will perform the Christmas concert.
From 16.30, ad animare il pomeriggio sarà The Association “U Gunbu de Löa” che presenterà un ampio repertorio di canti della tradizione popolare natalizia.
Sarà l’accensione del grande albero di Natale in Italy Square, to the 17.30, a dare il segnale d’avvio all’illuminazione artistica della città. A fare da madrine saranno le insegnanti della Scuola per l’Infanzia S. Stella con i bambini dell’asilo.
Una calda atmosfera natalizia avvolgerà Loano, abbellendo le vie dello shopping. Le luci disegneranno i contorni degli angoli più belli e le decorazioni natalizie vestiranno a festa la città. Una pioggia di luce darà vita a una sfavillante galleria nel centro storico.
Always the December 4, in the San Josemaria Escivà Gardens, sarà inaugurato il Christmas Village with the marketplace Christmas magic, promoted by the’Multipurpose Cultural Center Association of Loano. L’allestimento nel cuore della città, con i tanti small chalets, ricorderà l’atmosfera tipica dei mercatini dei paesi del Nord d’Europa. I giardini saranno abbelliti con una scenografia da fiaba: giochi di luci e alberelli comporranno un giardino d’inverno. Babbo Natale attenderà i bambini nella sua casetta per fare una foto con loro e un elfo make-up artist giocherà con i più piccini.
Il mercatino offrirà ai visitatori un’ampia scelta di oggetti legati al periodo di festa: candele, decorazioni natalizie, presepi e tante idee regalo. Non mancheranno golosità e bevande tipiche della stagione fredda.
The Christmas Village farà, inoltre, da cornice ad alcuni eventi culturali e di intrattenimento.
Saturday, December 5, from the 4:30 pm, will be held on the Christmas Circus, circus arts workshop with the group “Uncertain Circus”. Children will be able to try their hand at juggling exercises (balls, plates, hoops, diablo, handkerchiefs, bolas, etc.) and balancing (ball, roller, tightrope) and on the aerial trapeze.
It will be Simone Peretti with his elf helpers to lead children to discover the magical world of the circus.
The market will open, from 3:30 pm at 19.30, from the 4 all’8 dicembre, all weekends and from the Dec. 23 to Jan. 6, daily, excluding December 25. All cultural and entertainment events are free of charge.
