Sunday, May 10, to the 1 p.m. will make a stop at Loano the Advertising Caravana of the Giro d'Italia 2015, on the occasion of stage 2, Albenga-Genoa.

Loano is one of the locations chosen as the Official Stopover of the Caravan. The Municipality of Loano granted sponsorship of the event to the Marina of Loano who contributed to the implementation of the initiative.

From 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., the caravan will stop at the Marina of Loano, to deliver to the Mayor of Loano, Luigi Pignocca the Wolfie Wolf, the official mascot of the Giro d'Italia, in order to enshrine a symbolic twinning.

The Caravan is a moving party that brings together many colorful vehicles and engages the public with music and entertainment.Citizens will be treated to fun, entertainment, opportunities for interaction, many gadgets and products from the boys and girls of the many sponsors present. The Caravan precedes the passage Of the Giro d'Italia riders from about an hour and a half. 

During each stage, RCS Sport, organizer of the Giro d'Italia, identifies an average of 5 locations, chosen from an average of 20 that are candidates to host a Caravan stop that lasts about 15 minutes.

Loano was a stage of the 79° Tour of Italy in the distant 1996 with the arrival of the 12th Aulla Loano cup and the start of the 13th Loano Pratonevoso. This year it will return to prominence at the eighth round of the Pink Tour, from Arenzano to Loano, which will take place on the July 10 p.m.
