Saturday, December 27, a Loano, in the Civic Library, to the 3:30 pm, a new event in the “Books Under the Tree”,promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Municipality of Loano.
The guest at the literary salon in Loano will be the cultural organizer from GenoaVittorio Attanasio who will present her testimonial account “The Night Before the End.”.
In dialogue with the author will be Graziella Frasca Gallo, curator of the review.
The book’s introduction reads: “Set in Genoa, Mele, and Arenzano, this book tells the story of a father’s love for his “rebellious” son. It is a tale of fathers and sons, filled with real-world and online dangers and an inability to forgive.”.
Here’s a brief summary of the plot: “After being beaten to a pulp, Andrea lies in a hospital bed in a deep coma. His sudden awakening leads him to confess a wild story involving himself, his son, his entire family, and a tragically degraded slice of human and urban life. Andrea has a son to save from a dangerous crowd and a wrong to avenge—perhaps at any cost. But things won’t go exactly as he had hoped…”
La preface The novel is by the singer-songwriter from Liguria Roberta Alloisio.
Soundtracking the meeting will be the musical accompaniment of maestro Roberto Sinito.
Vittorio Attanasio (Genoa, 1959), a musician, has managed artists and bands, particularly Brazilian ones. He writes songs, poems, short stories, novels, and whatever else inspiration strikes him to write.
