Saturday, December 27, a Loano, the first of two concerts of the review will be held “Heavenly Musings”, organized by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano in collaboration with the Brotherhood Of the Turchin Hoods.

The musical itinerary in the sacred places of the city will interweave “The Concerts of the Turchins - The Music of the Soul.”, to the 5 p.m, in the’Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary,where the “Christmas Concert” of Magic Horn Ensemble.

The lineup, consisting of the musicians Angelo Borroni, Davide Miniscalco, Andrea Brunati, Stefano Bertoni, is a rather rare and impressive quartet of professional cornists.The members of the group boast many years of experience in both teaching and instrumental settings.In fact, the ensemble is composed of conservatory and music school teachers who collaborate with Italian opera, symphony and chamber music institutions.

The Ensemble's repertoire, thanks to the instrument's variety of timbres, ranges from original pieces to classical and modern transcriptions.

A Loano will perform a selection of songs inspired by the Christmas holiday of Thomas Bateson (1570-1630), Johan Pachlbel (1653-1706), Henry Purcell (1659-1695), Joan Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), George Friedrich Handel (1985-1759), Jan Van der Roost (1956), Wolfagang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), Joachim Rossini (1792-1868).

The January 3, always in the’Oratory of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary as part of ”The Concerts of St. Torpete,” the Friends of the Organ Music Association and the St. Ambrose Music Association will present at the 18.00 the organ concert by Silva Manfrè.
