Saturday, May 24, a Loano, double musical event with the reviews “In Ode to Mary” and Young Concert Players., promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The traveling festival of sacred music “In Ode to Mary” offers his latest concert in the Mount Carmel Church with the Briozzo Duet.
Vivaldi, Mozart, Frisina, Faure’, Duke Ellington, Dvorak are just some of the authors that the Briozzo Duet will face from the hours 21.00, accompanied by the expert hands of the Maestro Paolo Venturino, pianist, organist, composer and choir director of the Savona Cathedral Sistine Chapel. He recently gave a concert at the Royal Academy of Music in London together with other students of the Accordion class of the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia; at that prestigious conservatory he is in fact attending the third year of the Three-Year Accordion Course under the guidance of Maestro Pitocco. Also in 2013 he gave a concert in Riga (Latvia) during an important accordion festival and made his debut with the Imago Sonora Ensemble in the Sala Casella of the Accademia Filarmonica Romana performing Absolute Premieres by Telli, Quagliarini, Fournier, Gentile.
He has played at important Italian venues such as: Montecitorio Palace ( Salone della Regina ) , Capitoline Museums (Hall of the Conservators), Teatro Marcello, Villa Torlonia, Palazzo Gonzaga, Casa Menotti (Spoleto), Sala Accademica ( Conservatorio Santa Cecilia).He has performed premieres for Bruni, Di Cecca, Gioffrè, Morgantini and Munari. In the summer of 2011 he was called to take part in the show of comedian Giorgio Panariello in a stage of the tour “Panariello does not exist” at the Verona Arena. In 2009 and 2010 he participated in the finals of the Coupe Mondiale de l'Accordéon (New Zealand and Croatia), coming close to victory in the Classical and Varietè categories. He has participated in master classes with internationally renowned teachers such as Corrado Rojac, Mika Vayrynen, Yuri Shishkin, Dario Flammini, Owen Murray, Jean Luc Manca.
He recently joined the musicians promoted by Gioventù Musicale Italiana, an association that boasts illustrious collaborations with such musicians as Riccardo Muti, Sviatoslav Richter, Arthur Rubinstein, Severino Gazzelloni and many others. “Premio Adamo Volpi” (Loreto), “Premio Bizzarri” (Morro d'Oro), “Premio Wolmer Beltrami,” “Premio Città di Scopello,” “Premio Leo Ceroni,” and “Spring Festival” (Spoleto) are others of the many awards he has received since the age of 6, when he was introduced to the accordion thanks to M° Renzo Tomassetti.{:}
