Saturday, March 1, a Loano, In the Mosaic Room of the Doria Palace, will be opened the exhibition “All About the Brothers Grimm, curated by the Mad Grass Theater and from the I.SO Cooperative. Theatre, under the project “Loano for family“, sponsored by the’Department of Social Services of the City of Loano.

The trail, consisting of wooden posters, puppets and sets, will lead to the discovery of fairy tale characters from the Brothers Grimm.  Walking through the exhibition, as if on a journey, you will enter the fabulous world of Cinderella, passing through the gingerbread house of the witch in Hansel and Gretel, stumbling upon a hungry wolf looking for a Little Red Riding Hood, discovering the cleverness of the Puss in Boots to land at the castle of Donkey Skin not forgetting to prick his finger with the spindle of the Sleeping Beauty. The exhibition will remain on display until the March 30, open to the public during office hours and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free of charge.

From Sunday, March 2, will kick off “TO THE LIBRARY FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE”, a review curated by the I.SO Cooperative. Theatre, Dedicated to the promotion of reading.

Book presentations and play workshops will be held from hrs. 16.00 at Civic Library In the Kursaal Palace.

March 2, animated reading and workshop will be dedicated to the book “Our friend Jorge”, a tale of Jeanne Perego-Schimpke, illustrated by  John Manna. The book recounts the life of Jorge Maria Bergoglio, through the places where he grew up. Eighteen plates, illustrated by Giovanni Manna, show the path and vocation, which led him to become Pope Francis. Jeanne Perego-Schimpke's text, always light and engaging, draws a portrait of the young Bergoglio in which every child can recognize himself. The introduction is by Bishop Edoardo Horacio Garcia, Bishop in charge of the pastoral care of children and youth, one of Jorge Bergoglio's closest collaborators. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the El Almendro Association of Buenos Aires, very dear to Pope Francis, which is dedicated to the reintegration into society of children, adolescents and young people who are victims of abuse and addiction.

The review will continue on March 9 with the presentation of the book “Roses in the Salad” by Bruno Munari and the Bruno Munari Method workshop © curated by Barbara Visentini. The March 16 meeting and workshop with the illustrator will take place. Andrea Denegri with the presentation of the book “The Strange Case of the Blue Pimples.“ Geronimo Stilton I.” Finally, the March 30 playful-educational workshop on promoting reading, organized by Giunti Editore, Giunti Kids, will be held, “Peppa Pig and Her Friends.”.{:}
