Saturday, February 15, Enzo Iacchetti accompanied by the Witz Orchestra, will be a guest of the Loano theater season, promoted by the’Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano and organized by the Garage Theater, as part of the theatrical promotion circuit The Riviera of Theaters - Province of Savona.
At 9 p.m., in the Loanese Cinema Theater will stage the show “I apologize to Mr. Gaber.”, a tribute that Iacchetti pays to his friend and great singer-songwriter of the twentieth century, revisiting his entire early production. It is a joyful show reminiscent of a cheerful Gaber, seemingly less committed, but at the same time cynical and current even in his black-and-white TV songs.
Between songs, Enzo Iacchetti recites original monologues, co-written with his author Giorgio Centamore, that speak of Italy's still medieval Italy, waiting for a new Renaissance, all in the true style of song theater.
In the show there is also a tribute to the great Jannacci with “Una fetta di limone” made famous and celebrated by the JA-GA brothers duo. A show that will uncover a very topical Gaber and a true stage animal Iacchetti.
The set design, already colored by cutting-edge lighting, is stuffed with the light sculptures of world-renowned artist Marco Lodola.
