The winner of “The Voice of Italy Senior” Erminio Sinni and the authors of the theme song of the Rai TV drama “L'allieva” The Shalalas and then again the Nicole Magolie Band, Federico Stragà and “The Suburban Boys.” They will be the protagonists of the five dates of “Summer in Music,” the concert series organized by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano in collaboration with the Eccoci Eventi Agency.

“This year,” explain Loano Mayor Luigi Pignocca and Vice Mayor and Councillor for Tourism and Culture Remo Zaccaria, "the stage that will host our musical evenings will be exceptionally set up in Piazza Italia, which will thus be transformed into a sort of large auditorium. The large space in front of Palazzo Doria, after all, has always lent itself to multiple uses and particularly to hosting musical events for which a certain turnout of the public is expected (obviously within the limits of health regulations). Jazz, rock, Italian music will accompany five unforgettable August evenings.".

It begins Thursday, August 5 at 9 p.m. with the concert by Erminio Sinni, winner of the talent-show “The Voice of Italy Senior” in Loredana Bertè's cadre and then a guest at the Sanremo Festival 2021 on the evening dedicated to duets with some of his fellow "The Voice of Italy Senior" performers accompanying competing singer Giò Evan. Opening the evening will be singer-songwriter Daniele De Gregori.

The Aug. 6, also at 9 p.m., on the other hand, will perform The Shalalas, the duo formed Sara Cecchetto and Alex “Boss” Hare, whose style represents a marriage of Kurt Cobain and Regina Spektor (with dreams of seeing the Moldy Peaches on stage again).

Saturday, August 14 at 9 p.m. Italy Square in Loano will stage the “Like a Diamond Live Concert” starring the Nicole Magolie Band. The stage set up in front of Palazzo Doria will feature the talented Nicole Magolie and her band consisting of Gabriele Gentile (piano and keyboards), Michele Aloisi (bass) and Folco Fedele (drums). The quartet will tell (and play) the history of popo music with a special focus on the role of women and great performers. All without any recorded frequencies, for a pure live performance with great space for the musicians' talent.

On Friday, August 20, Federico Stragà will perform., who will perform songs from his latest album “Looking Out” and from some of his best-known albums, such as “L'astronauta,” “Cigno macigno,” “La notte di San Lorenzo” (Sanremo 97), “Volere volare” (Sanremo 2003). And there are also some covers of singer-songwriters he has known or had the good fortune to collaborate with: Lucio Dalla, Franco Battiato, De Gregori, Carboni, Vasco. He will be accompanied by Valerio Carboni (keyboards), Daniele Morelli (guitar), Marco Dirani (bass) and Alberto Paderni (drums).

On Aug. 27, it will be the turn of “The Suburban Boys.”, who will be featured in a cover night entirely dedicated to three of Italy's greatest performers-Claudio Baglioni, Adriano Celentano and Eros Ramazzotti.

Events in Italy Square will be held in full compliance with anti-Covid regulations. The square will be closed from 7 p.m. and sanitation and disinfection operations will begin immediately afterwards. The public will be able to start flowing in from 8 p.m. through the only entrance on Via Martiri della Libertà. Until August 5, in order to gain access to the square, it will be necessary to register by providing personal information (first and last name) and a telephone number. For performances to be held from Aug. 6 onward, access will be allowed only to those with the so-called “Green Pass,” as required by the latest legal regulations. A total of 350 seats are available. Once they are sold out, the audience will be able to take their seats on the other seats made up of street furniture artifacts or directly on the floor of the square.

Below are biographies of the artists.

Erminio Sinni was born in Grosseto. At the age of 12 he began, at the Pietro Mascagni Conservatory in Livorno, the study of piano and at the age of 18 he moved to Rome playing and singing in the best clubs in the capital. During this period he collaborated with Paola Turci and in 1989 participated in the Sanremo Festival as an author the song “Tutti i cuori sensibili” followed by three LPs written entirely by Sinni.
In 1990 he participated in the Nuovo Cantagiro, placing fourth, and in 1991 he was tasked with singing and performing at the party in honor of Frank Sinatra at the American Embassy in Rome. In 1992 he met Riccardo Cocciante with whom he began a collaborative relationship. In 1993 produced by Cocciante he participated in the Sanremo festival placing fifth with the song “L'amore vero” and also winning the Volare Award as best music of the event and the S.I.L.B. Award as best lyrics.
At the same time the album “Ossigeno” was released with all the songs written entirely by Sinni containing nine songs including “E tu davanti a me” which after almost thirteen years is still on the radio charts in southern Italy. In the same year Riccardo Cocciante's CD was released where the top song was “Resta con me” a piece written by Sinni and Massimo Bizzarri. In 1996 he received the award for best songwriter at the Mia Martini Award.
In 1998 the song “L'amore vero” became the soundtrack for the telenovela “Por amor” broadcast in Latin America by Rete Globo and sold 832,000 copies. Erminio Sinni's new record “11,167 km,” is named after the distance between Fiumicino and Buenos Aires where singer-songwriter Erminio Sinni recorded his new album between January and May 2006. 11167 km was born out of stubbornness and the need to stop emotions and thoughts in music.
The story of this work by Erminio Sinni has as its musical background the immense cultural background that we can find in South America especially in Argentina.
Among the 11 songs are “Maremma” an unreleased theme by Sinni dressed in a gypsy arrangement; “Aria Buona” written in the cab the first time in Buenos Aires; “Carlo Cifalà” a metaphor between the art of billiards and life; “Chi dove quando perché” swing that questions where our Italy is going; “Lettera dalle stelle” is a frame of history of a somewhat simpler past. Finally, for the fans the artist recorded, with the same musicians who participated in the making of the Album, the songs ’L'amore“ vero and ”E tu davanti a me,“ included in the album as Bonus Tracks. Thirteen oil paintings each depict the themes played and sung.

Daniele De Gregori was born in Rome where he lives, plays music and earns a degree. In 2008 he won the Sponsor Award of the Roma Music Festival. In 2011 he wins the Special Prize of the Roma Music Festival. In 2012 he is awarded in the “I Cerchi Magici” festival in Rome. In 2013 he wins the First Prize and the Best Lyrics Award of the Gandolfo Festival. In 2014 he wins the Troisi Festival. In 2015 he releases the album “Hegel” and wins “Best Performance” in the Incanto Award. He then records Litfiba's “Pioggia di luce” for the “Desaparecido” tribute album commissioned by Ghigo Renzulli. In 2016 his “Me ne vado a dormi’” live @ Teatro Olimpico in Rome with Alberto Laurenti is on the album “Che fine hai fatto cantautore?” In 2019 he is among the winners of Premio Lunezia, joins NAIA, the new soccer team of MEI, Meeting degli Indipendenti, and releases the album “La gente è singolare,” distributed by Azzurrahub, with guests Lucio Bardi and Paolo Giovenchi. In 2020 he won L'artista che non c'era, Nuovo IMAIE Award, Best Song at Music Indie Contest and ACEP/UNEMIA Award for Musica Contro Le Mafie duetting with Nathalie. He is several times musical guest on Raidue's program ’O anche no“ playing with Bobo Rondelli. In 2021 he won Sanremo in a cab and is currently a finalist for the Bertoli Award and Non è mica. He is touring in with the booking agency Joe&Joe.

The Shalalas Are Sara Cecchetto and Alex “Boss Hare.”.
Sara Cecchetto approached music at a very young age, beginning to play with the Orff-Schulwerk method. At 21, she graduated from the conservatory with a diploma in violin. She plays with various orchestras and makes her mark by winning national awards. As a violinist she collaborates with many other names in the Roman music scene.
Alex “Boss” Hare began writing songs at age 16, with his 30-euro guitar bought three months earlier. He militates in numerous bands of the Roman indie-rock scene, as a guitarist and singer. Until the day he meets the wonderful voice of Sara. To his credit he has over 400 concerts.
The group formed in 2013 and after a few months composed and recorded the EP “The Fucking Shalalas,” immediately attracting the interest of the press and the music scene in Rome. Thus began a prolific series of concerts in the best stages of the capital until they spread to many Italian cities. The intimate, delicate and dreamy atmospheres of The Shalalas, reach the ears of the Entertainment Editorial Staff of “La Repubblica,” which writes several articles and reviews about them up to hosting them in the famous program “Webnotte” for Repubblica Tv. The band comes second in the contest promoted by the label “La Fame Dischi” and reaches the regional finals of the ’Arezzo Wave Contest“ and participates in festivals and reviews of international scope making several openings to bands such as The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Fear of Men and Widowspeak. In May 2015 they played at the H&M Stage, Ray-Ban Stage Unplugged and Parc De La Ciutadella of the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and held a showcase inside MACBA for the European Primavera PRO professionals. The ”3las tour“ has touched more than 120 cities in Italy and abroad. On September 19, 2016, La Repubblica premiered the video for ”A Week“: the song was chosen for the theme song of a Rai1 TV drama called “L'Allieva,“ starring Alessandra Mastronardi, Lino Guanciale and Dario Aita, directed by Luca Ribuoli. Other songs from the album are featured in each episode. In December 2016, The Shalalas are among the 12 finalists of Sanremo Giovani 2017, with their first song in Italian ”Difficile.“ They thus perform in prime time RAI 1, in the program ”Sarà Sanremo.“ In 2017 they work on their second album, interspersing the work of writing and recording, with the activitỳ live, which reaches 200 dates. The second album is called ”Boom“ and was released on March 9, 2018. On October 25, 2018, the second season of the TV drama ”The Pupil“ starts: not only are ”A Week“ reconfirmed as the theme song and the songs from ”There are 3 las in Shalalas,“ but also the songs from the new album ”Boom“ are included, with particular relevance of the song ”Nothing Works at 5 O'Clock, which becomes the most listened to song from the new album on Spotify. Federico Stragà has his first big chance to make himself known to the general public by participating in San Remo Giovani in 1997 where he presents the song “La Notte di San Lorenzo.” In 1998 he participated among the new proposals at the San Remo Festival and signed his first record contract with BMG and released his first LP, entitled “Federico Stragà,” produced by Bruno Tibaldi and Mara Majonchi. In June 2000 he came out with the single “L'Astronauta,” a hugely successful summer hit, followed by his second album “Click Here'” which contains other radio hits such as “Cigno Macigno” and “Eleonora non si innamora.” In 2002 he won “Un Disco per l'Estate” with the song “Il coccodrillo vegetariano”, In 2003 he participated again in San Remo alongside Anna Tatangelo singing “Volere Volare”. Participates in the Miller Music Tour 2004 AND 2005 within which he performed in addition to his most famous songs also interpreting and promoting his new single entitled “The traffic light”. “The Suburban Boys.” are Leonardo Gisonda (a.k.a. Celentano), Paolo Gaudino (a.k.a. Eros Ramazzotti), Igor minerva (a.k.a. Claudio Baglioni), Giorgio Bellia, Gege Picollo, Francesco Bellia, and Andrea Girbaudo.
Leonardo Gisonda, known as Leo Mix, is the undisputed impersonator of the national Adrian and winner of “King for a Night.” Imitator and stand-up comedian. Guaranteed fun, irony and lots of merriment.
Paolo Gaudino's passion for Eros Ramazzotti began as a child, in 2009 his tribute in his first band. Thanks to Paolo's physical and vocal resemblance numerous are the concerts around the squares and clubs both in Italy and abroad. In 2013 we see him as a guest on the TV show “Quelli che il calcio” alongside the great Giorgia in the song “Inevitabile.” In 2016 Paolo decided to form a new band with professionals such as Emanuela Torriani, a chorister who accompanies Paolo on tour in all the shows. Igor Minerva, a singer-songwriter, became passionate about singing as a child, at the age of 5 he began studying piano, and in 1985, thanks to a friend who lent him the double 33 rpm Alé-oó, he learned about the music of Claudio Baglioni and was fascinated. In 1985 his first television experience: the City of Milan awarded the historic “Ambrogino d'oro” every year. There were more than 800 entries. Igor appeared at the audition bringing the song “Figli siamo noi,” written and produced by Reitano, together with the other members of “Il gruppo.” The competition was broadcast in Eurovision on Rai2. Between 1987 and 1990 he participated in national singing competitions, always getting good placings and often winning the critics“ prize. In 1993 he was selected to participate in the TV show ”Karaoke,“ hosted by Fiorello on Italia1, performing the song ”Mistero“ by Enrico Ruggeri. In 1999 he decided to try out with the Channel5 program ”Moments of Glory“ hosted by Mike Bongiorno. This ”moment“ decreed the beginning of Igor's career as an interpreter of Baglioni's songs. In 2014 the band Notte di Note was born, formed by 6 musicians, which accompanies Igor in concerts in northern Italy. In 2018 he also began the adventure with the band Alè-oò, formed by 4 musicians and 4 dancers, which accompanies Igor in concerts in central and southern Italy. He is a contestant on the program “Tu Si Que Vales” where he won a place in the final stage.
Giorgio Bellia, a graduate of Cento Professione Musica in Milan, collaborates with numerous artists including, Dolcenera, Valerio Scanu, Marco Carta, Loretta Grace Band, New Trolls, Carlo Verdone, Luisa Corna, Umberto Smaila and many others.
Gege Picollo, a jazz guitar graduate, has collaborated instudio and live with many entertainers from drupi to Marco Predolin, Gigi and Andrea, Rai Radio Due, XFACTOR, Giampaolo Casati, Mauro Battisti, Ivan Cattaneo. He has released several CDs with Triptic, JoeSingerChoir, Canzoniere Popolare Tortonese, and others under his own name.
Francesco Bellia, bass voice and guitar, 30 years of experience of 13 years touring the world with the History of New Trolls. Innumerable musical experiences with the likes of Baglioni, Renato Zero, Irene Fornaciari, PFM, L'Aura, Massimo di Cataldo, Danilo Amerio, Sarah Jane Morris, Corrado Tedeschi, Le Orme, about him it can be said that he loves good music.
Andrea Girbaudo, pianist, graduated in choral music and choir conducting from the Conservatory of Turin and in jazz from the Conservatory of Alessandria. Numerous Tribute and cover bands including collaboration with Ricky Portera. Guitarist for Stadio and Dalla. Producer and studio arranger for the Japanese dance market for 25 years.
