“It is consolidated with September Green at Loano," says Councillor for the Environment. Manuela Zunino - the collaboration with CEA Ponente Savonese that began over the summer with “Leap into the Blue.” The four free nature snorkeling events aimed at children and teens, featuring marine biologists from the RSTA cooperative society, were a great success. Sixty young divers (ages 8 to 16) participated in sea outings to discover the seabed. Positive feedback was also received for the outings of bottom cleaning: thirty guys naturalistic snorkeling enthusiasts found themselves in the beach of the Lampara Baths to participate in the two meetings dedicated to the ’ecopinneggiata,“ included in the project “The Sea in 3D” carried out in collaboration with the “School of Robotics”. The young divers in addition to observing the nature of the seabed removed small trash lying in the sea. We hope that the new initiative dedicated to four nature trails will be greatly appreciated by both tourists and residents.”
September Green at Loano will continue with the following program: the September 15 will be proposed the excursion “A walk in the woods among stories of trees” on the occasion of the Santa Libera Festival, the September 24 the historical-naturalistic itinerary “Educational trail from the sea to the bush to the cork oak forest”, the September 29 the “Bat Night: on the first heights of Loano with the bat-detector” discovering the mysterious world of bats (picnic dinner).
