{:en}Saturday, August 12 a Loano, Maurizio Lastrico will be the protagonist of the second event dedicated to the cabaret of the review of major events “Dreams Festival”, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and edited by Event Size, under the artistic direction of Ivan Fabio Perna.
At 21.30, in the summer arena Prince's Garden the Genoese comedian will present the show “The one who talks funny”, an experimentation on language born from the observation of realities that are very distant from each other: from clubs, where mumblings and clichés are mixed, to parish oratories, to the permanent theaters where the great classics are staged.
Known to television audiences for being one of the faces of Zelig, Maurizio Lastrico, through his famous “Dantesque” endecasyllables, which mix high and low tones, will run through the best of his repertoire, humorously recounting everyday mishaps, looming misfortune, and chaos that enjoys destroying life's rare moments of tranquility.
A narrator of condensed stories in which synthesis and omission generate high-impact comic play, Lastrico will captivate audiences by providing an evening of great entertainment.
Graduated from the Acting School of the Teatro Stabile of Genoa, Maurizio Lastrico Is a theater actor and author.
Since 2010 he has been part of the cast of the Canale 5 program Zelig, and in 2011 he published his first book, published by Mondadori, “Nel mezzo del casin di nostra vita.” The strong point of his repertoire is linguistic experimentation that mixes Dantean metrics with contemporary, everyday content.
In the summer of 2011 he is on stage at the Roman Theater in Verona with” A Midsummer Night's Dream” by William Shakespeare directed by Gioele Dix and takes on tour the show he wrote and directed “When you do something around tell me.”.
In 2013 he debuted his show “Facciamo che io ero io” directed by Gioele Dix, which toured throughout the following year.
From July 23 to 26, 2014, he is at Verona's Teatro Romano in the title role of Carlo Goldoni's “Il Bugiardo,” directed by Valerio Binasco.
In 2016 he was part of the cast of the latest edition of Zelig and a successful star of the theater tour between 2016 and 2017. The tour continues with summer performances, including Loano.
