La city of Doria and its district are in fact located at the center of the Vibram Maremontana Running Park, the first park in Liguria entirely dedicated to lovers of outdoor activities.

A scenic loop between ancient stone bridges and the silence of hillside churches. Starting from the square of Verzi, the trail immediately greets you with the rural charm of the Nimbalt Creek, where small stone bridges and picnic areas look like something out of an old-time postcard.

P11 - Hague Rock Tour | 9.64Km | Walk 2h+ | Elevation gain 790m

Get ready to defy gravity in one of the beating hearts of Ligurian trail running. The Hague Rock Tour is not just a workout, it is a technical immersion among the rock walls that dominate the hinterland of Loano. Starting from the fraction of Verzi, the trail immediately launches you into the mountains, ascending ancient mule tracks and narrow paths that test legs and heart. It is a nearly ten-kilometer trail that condenses everything a runner looks for: steep climbs, technical passages and unspoiled nature.

P12 - Maremontana K25 | 22Km | Walk 5h+ | Elevation gain 1384m

From the beach to the hut, an epic ascent between the blue sea and the silence of high altitude. The iconic route of the famous Maremontana event: 23 kilometers of pure adrenaline and 1,400 meters of positive elevation gain that will test the most experienced runners. Starting from the’Maccagli Garden, the route traverses the city's history and then launches upward, transforming the urban landscape into a technical wilderness.

P13 - Balcony Trail | 15Km | Walk 4h 30' | Elevation gain 1106m

Overlooking the blue from a natural terrace suspended between earth and sky. The Balcony Trail is perfect for those who are not satisfied and are looking for an intense experience: 15 kilometers of development and more than 1,400 meters of elevation gain that make it a real challenge for legs and breath. Starting from the quiet hamlet of Verzi, the route immediately climbs to the peaks, leaving the built-up area behind to plunge into a wilderness where the terrain becomes technical and challenging.

Get ready to climb the giant: 1400 meters of elevation gain to touch the highest point in the territory. The Mount Carmo Ring is not for everyone, a challenge for those who want to leave the sea behind and conquer the 1,384-meter peak. Starting from Verzi, this route transforms the typical Ligurian walk into a vertical ascent worthy of the great Alpine peaks, where the effort of the climb along the “Sentiero delle Scalette” is repaid by a horizon that knows no boundaries.

B2 - From Loano to Verzi | 15.6Km | Average time 1h+ | Height difference 203m

A light pedaling among the scent of greenhouses and the hidden treasures of Loano. The perfect invitation for a day in the saddle dedicated to the whole family. With its 15 kilometers and gentle elevation gain, this loop takes you to discover the most authentic soul of the early hinterland, away from traffic and immersed in the quiet of the hamlets.

B3 - Loano and the Inland Villages | 20.83Km | Average time 1h 30' | Height difference 250m

Get ready for a journey that combines the blue sea with the timeless charm of Ligurian villages. A tour for those who want to discover the soul of the Varatella and Nimbalto Valleys in one exciting loop. In 21 kilometers of smooth pedaling, you'll leave the shoreline of Loano and ride up inland through the medieval heart of Toirano, with its tower-houses and famous thousand-year-old Caves, all the way to the flower-filled hamlets of Boissano.

B4 - Castagnabanca - On the heights of Loano by MTB | 21.07Km | Average time 2h 11' | Elevation gain 529m

From palm trees to forests, test yourself on the trails overlooking the Riviera. The perfect mix of training climb and adrenaline-pumping descent. In 21 kilometers, you'll leave the waterfront of Loano to climb up to the 480-meter Castagnabank, where asphalt gives way to white roads and breathtaking views suspended over the blue.

P1 - Tour of the Fountains | 3.7Km | Walk 37' | Elevation gain 67m

Le artistic fountains of Loano are true works that enrich the town's squares, gardens and promenades. About four kilometers long, the Tour of the Fountains runs through some of the most picturesque corners of the historic center, alternating stretches on the waterfront with passages between historic squares, gardens and characteristic streets.

P2 - Taste of Salt | 7.3Km | Walk 1h 13' | Elevation gain 101m

A simple itinerary that unfolds entirely along the sea, ideal for a relaxing walk or light jog at any time of the year. The route follows the picturesque sea promenade of Loano, accompanying step by step among palm trees, glimpses of the harbor and the unmistakable scent of the sea breeze.

Among quiet streets and green spaces, the Parks Tour leads to the discovery of a more relaxed and everyday side of Loano. This loop route passes through some of the inner city areas and takes the visitor on a pleasant journey between Characteristic streets, gardens and small urban parks.

Among countryside, historic villages and glimpses of the hinterland, this approximately ten-kilometer route allows you to discover a lesser-known side of Loano. The route runs between the borders of Borghetto Santo Spirito e Ligurian Stone, alternating between urban stretches and country roads surrounded by greenery.

This interesting Urban route allows people to discover a different face of Loano, away from the busy areas and immersed in the tranquility of the inner city areas. Starting from the picturesque seafront, the itinerary winds through small streets, urban gardens and easy paths through olive groves and pine forests, offering pleasant glimpses between nature and the Ligurian landscape.

A journey through devotion, history and nature that starts from the’Maccagli Garden, on the waterfront of Loano. The Tour of the Oratories is more than just a trail: it allows you to discover the city's most sacred and iconic places, moving from the heart of the old town to the serenity of the hills. Past Fortress Square, the route winds its way through ancient walls and historic confraternity churches, such as the White Chapels, leading you to discover peaceful corners such as the charming little church of Our Lady of Loreto.

P7 - Dry Walls | 7.56Km | Walk 1h 15' | Elevation gain 205m

There is a hidden Loano, made up of thousand-year-old stones and hanging gardens, just waiting to be explored. Abandon the waterfront and follow the tracks that lead inland: the Dry Wall Trail is a journey through the ancient hamlets of the Mazzocchi and of the Meceti. Where the gray of hand-hewn stone mixes with the silver of olive trees: you will walk side by side with the dry stone walls, the silent giants that have supported the heroic agriculture of Liguria for centuries.

Put the city on pause and get ready to read nature's secrets among the trails. More than just a walk, it is an open-air lesson that starts from the heart of Loano and takes you all the way above the Collar of Ranzi. Leaving the waterfront and the historic walls of Piazza Italia, the route climbs to the hillside where the landscape changes face: here the Mediterranean scrub reveals itself in all its variety, among centuries-old olive groves and rare cork trees.

With its 2,700 meters of positive elevation gain, this trail takes you to experience every nuance of the Ligurian landscape, starting from the shoreline of Loano and climbing up to 1,100 meters above sea level, where the air becomes thin and the view overlooks the entire Alpine arc.
