Sunday, August 20, a Loano, the review continues, Family Summer included as part of the season “Dreams Festival” promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and edited by Event Size, under the artistic direction of Ivan Fabio Perna.
At 9:30 pm, in the Summer Arena Prince's Garden, will stage the children's and youth theater show “The Story Catchers”.
Two cute pixies with ditties, interactions, transformism and colors will guide young audiences on an imaginative journey through some of the most beautiful stories in children's literature. Fairy tales will be caught in the magic net of the two bungling leprechauns, who will transform into witches, wizards and funny princes.
The children's show is performed and directed by Franco Abba e Mauro Stante.
The collaboration between the two artists began in the 1990s when they started 'Abbastante,” a duo that offers a particular kind of theater-cabaret and transformism, recovering variety theater and approaching ”cabaret“ a la Karl Valentin
In 2002 Franco Abba founded the Piccolo Teatro Comico of Turin of which he is currently artistic director. He collaborates constantly with the Teatro “Fègujas d'Arte” in São Paulo, Brazil, where he holds annual theater workshops in local academies.
