Saturday, August 15, a Loano, ferragosto is celebrated with concert tribute to “Lucio Battisti”, organized by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
On waterfront in Orto Maccagli, to the 9 p.m., the cover band Innocent escapes will perform a wide repertoire of songs by the unforgettable Lucio Battisti:from the beginnings at Cantagiro to the last period of the Battisti-Mogol partnership, to which special attention will be paid.
The show will bring back the engaging and carefree atmosphere of the great singer-songwriter's concerts, ranging from unforgettable ballads, to avant-garde rock, to the disco atmospheres of the late 1970s.
The lineup, composed of professional musicians who have been playing together for nearly a decade and who grew up listening to the songs of the great Lucio Battisti, includes a multi-instrumentalist singer, who alternates between acoustic guitar, piano and synthesizers, and three instrumentalists (electric guitar/piano, bass and drums) who support him with sought-after polyphonic choruses.
The show is enriched with anecdotes and trivia about Lucio Battisti's life and passions.
They compose the band: Leandro Ghetti (vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, synthesizers), Niccolò Chimenti (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, piano, backing vocals), Rudi Caldesi (bass, backing vocals), Marco Campagna (drums, percussion, backing vocals).
