PRESS RELEASE (2/22/2017)

Thursday, Feb. 23, Loano, to the 4:30 pm, at the Mondadori Bookstore a new round of the “Afternoons of stories, books ... and talk.” organized under the auspices of the Municipality of Loano.

The theme of the animated reading series, aimed at children ages 3 to 8, will be on American Indians.

After the themed reading and snack, children will choose their Indian name and typical feathered headdress. Then a workshop will follow to build a cardboard totem depicting their guide animal.

The initiative, with free admission, aims to promote reading among young children and create a meeting point during a time of year that offers fewer opportunities for recreation. Since the initiative began, children's attendance has grown and the workshops are attended by 25 children each week.

The review will continue on February 28 with the meeting dedicated to the theme “Masks in the theater.”.
