 Thursday, February 9, will take place in Loano, to the 8 p.m. at Council Chamber of Palazzo Doria the meeting of the “Safety Table”, established by the’Municipal Police Department, which involves local citizens and associations in the development of strategies to counter the phenomenon of urban insecurity.

“The new meeting of the “Security Table,”" explains Councillor Enrica Rocca - will be especially aimed at Loano's economic categories to whom we will present some initiatives aimed at improving security in our municipality. It will be the staff of the Savona Police Headquarters who will explain the “Video-Anti-Robbery Alert” project, while Loano Municipal Police Commander Dr. Luigi Soro will explain the project to expand territorial video surveillance.”
The “Video Robbery Alarm”, which interacts with the Operations Centers of the State Police and Carabinieri, stems from the implementation of the Memorandums of Understanding entered into by the Minister of the Interior with the trade associations Confcommercio, Confesercenti and Federfarma, and provides for the installation of anti-robbery video-alarm devices in commercial establishments and pharmacies in the provincial territory. How it will be possible to join the initiative will be explained at the meeting.

Collaborative ways to implement the Citizen co-participation in the territorial video surveillance system of the City of Loano and the first agreements made will be presented.

“Finally," says Councillor Enrica Rocca - In closing the meeting the CEIS (Italian Solidarity Center) of Genoa will illustrate the “asylum seekers” reception project” housed in the former convent of St. Augustine and the defined agreements with the City of Loano to ensure safety for our fellow citizens and the smooth integration of the immigrant group into the Loano community.”
