Sunday, January 29, a Loano, will kick off the program of initiatives of the 26th edition of CarnevaLöa, organized by the’Old Loano Association with contributions from the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The Loano carnival will offer a varied program of events: cortees of masks, parades of floats and street parties for children.
To inaugurate the Carnevalöa 2017 will be the ceremony of handing over the keys to the city To the three loanese masks: Puè Pepin King of Carnival, U Beciancin official mask of the CarnevaLöa and Captain Fracassa, mask of the commedia dell'arte.

I 13 carts made by carnival artisans will parade down Corso Roma (waterfront) on the February 26 and the March 5, accompanied by marching bands, majorettes and walking masked groups.
Sunday, February 26 as part of the parade will take place the Village Palio, a carnival competition involving floats representing the villages of Loano. The March 5 the carnival festival will close with the Palio of the Commons, which will compare floats from the riparian and inland municipalities that have joined the event.
