Sunday, November 20, a Loano, l’A.D. Basketball Loano organized in the E. Garassini Sports Hall, the tournament di Minibasket Femminile “Pomeriggio in Rosa: 4° COMPLEANNO DELLA PIGOTTA UNICEF”.
All’iniziativa, promossa con il patrocinio dell’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano and of the FIP Liguria, girls from the minibasket centers in Bordighera, Albenga, Amatori Savona, Cogoleto and Loano. Le 43 female minicestars, accompanied by the cheers of the large audience in attendance, played on the Lovese parquet in the presence of the home mascot, a three-foot-tall pinecone.
The athletes competed in mixed formations with the purpose of getting to know each other, making friends and gathering funds for l’Unicef, in the giornata mondiale dei diritti dell’infanzia e dell’adolescenza. At the end of the afternoon, in the presence of the Unicef president of the Savona section, Francis Parino, le giovani atlete hanno potuto lasciare una piccola donazione all’interno del salvadanaio posto a centro campo.
