The Mount Greppino Choir was founded in October 1993 within the Savona Alpine section and under the direction of Maestro Antonio Ferro. It takes its name from the mountain of the same name behind the town of Varazze, where it also has its headquarters. The choir's repertoire ranges from songs drawn from the Alpine folk tradition or those inspired by the events of the two world wars, to many songs belonging to the Ligurian and Piedmontese folk tradition, as well as those of Venetian and Friulian origin.

The mixed choir “On the notes of the Lake” in Osiglia (SV) was founded in 1991 as a liturgical choir and later decided to expand its repertoire to include folk and mountain songs. At Loano, the two choirs will perform a repertoire of sacred music.

Saturday, June 18, the day will begin with the’hike to Pian delle Bosse and Mount Carmo, organized in cooperation with the Loano section of the Italian Alpine Club and the Friends of Carmo Association.

In the evening at 9 p.m., in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena the concert will be held on Mount Cauriol Choir and of the Fanfare of the Veterans of the Alpine Brigade “Orobica” of Bergamo.

A vocal formation with an unmistakable style and splendid harmonizations, the Mount Cauriol Choir is characterized by a folk-based repertoire.

The Monte Cauriol Choir was founded in Genoa in 1950 by a group of engineering students who were passionate about the mountains and who got together to sing songs made famous by the SAT Choir. Thanks to methodical research by the conductor and choir members, the choir has created its own repertoire, performed with unmistakable style and spirit, the result of a fusion of musical, mountain, alpine, and student culture, and above all, the personality of Armando Corso, founder and, for over sixty years, harmonizer and conductor, who in 2013 handed over the baton to his son Massimo. The choir has performed numerous concerts in Italy and abroad, receiving numerous accolades from audiences and critics over the years. The passage of time, the expansion of the repertoire, and the generational change have not prevented the choir from maintaining the spirit and passion of its early years, and the handover from Armando to Massimo continues and confirms a well-established tradition of interpretative spontaneity.

The choir will present a program of famous songs that seem timeless, songs that interpret not only the peace of the immense solitude of the high mountains, but also the thoughts, aspirations, and memories of those who, in the past, lived in those mountains and composed and sang these songs.

Always at 21.00, on the waterfront in the cultural space Maccagli Garden, the concert of the Fanfare of the Veterans of the Alpine Brigade “Orobica” of Bergamo.

The fanfare of the Orobica Alpine Brigade was re-established in June 2006 at the request of the then editor of the magazine “L'Alpino,” Gen. Cesare Di Dato, and the ANA of Bergamo. This fanfare has been called “the miracle of the Orobica” because, within three months, thanks to the efforts of its supporters and some of its members, it managed to form and join the four existing fanfares: the Julia, the Tridentina, the Taurinense, and the Cadore. The members come from different areas of Lombardy: Valtellina, Brescia, Varese, Milan, Como, and Bergamo, historic recruitment areas for the Orobica. From 46 members present in Brescia, the Fanfare has now reached 70 members, many of whom belong to other local bands or fanfares, who take turns, musical and work commitments permitting, in the various services.
