Saturday, June 11, a Loano, the last event of the music festival will take place Young Concert Artists, organized by the’St. Mary Immaculate Music Association under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The guest of the festival dedicated to young musicians will be the’Finale Youth Orchestra who will perform at 9 p.m. in Fortress Square. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Council Chamber a Doria Palace.
L’Finale Youth Orchestra, headed by the Prof. Salvatore Scarlata, is made up of students from the violin, viola, cello, flute, and piano classes at the Finale Music Academy.
The orchestra's repertoire draws mainly on pieces from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods (including “The Phantom of the Opera,” “L'Estro Armonico,” compositions by T. Albinoni and Benedetto Marcello) and also includes arrangements of music from films and musicals.
