From May 5 to 7, 2016, a Loano, the Residence Loano 2 will host the 55th edition of the’National Assembly of the National Union of Sports Veterans, organized by the’National Union of Sports Veterans, “Rinaldo Roggero Section” of Savona in collaboration with the Loanese Section and the sponsorship of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
Thursday, May 5, at the national meeting, in the Council Chamber a Doria Palace, the conference will be held on the theme “The current situation and new scenarios in Physical Education and Motor and Sports Sciences.
The seminar will begin at 3:30 pm with greetings from the Mayor of Loano Luigi Pignocca and the Councilor for Tourism, Culture, and Sport Remo Zaccaria.
The program will then get underway with the presentation of the “Interregional Training Package of the U.N.V.S. on Motor, Physical, and Sports Education in Various School Levels”. Dr. Pasquale Piredda, scientific director and disciplinary coordinator of the project, educationalist and president of the National Culture Commission of the U.N.V.S., several times member of the Ministerial Commissions for the reform of various school systems.
The second presentation of the afternoon will be given by Prof. Dino Sangiorgio, headmaster of the 39th Educational District “Leopardi” in Naples, professor at the University of Molise and at the Regional School of Sport of Campania. Olympic water polo player, Dino Sangiorgio will speak on the topic “From basic motor skills education to sports initiation: a continuous training program”.
