Sunday, February 28, a Loano, the Palio Dei Comuni will close the 25th edition of Carnevalöa, organized by the’Old Loano Association with contributions from the’Department of Tourism and Culture of the City of Loano.
The second parade of 2016 will see competition between floats from the cities of Bardino Vecchio (Ghostbuster), Borghetto S.S. (Jeeg Robot of Steel) Varazze (The Cossacks), Albenga (Los Volos - Los Tres Tenores), Rione S. Giovanni Albenga (The Tale of Peter Pan), Justenice (Sheep Life). For Loano The winner of the Palio dei Borghi, Dragon Trainer and Masha and The Bear will compete (Fortress Square).
Out of competition all the other Palio dei Borghi floats will also parade: The tree of life (Stella Street Rossello Schools Loano), Arlo's journey (The Priglians), The Minions (I Mazzocchi I Mattetti Burdellusi), Star Wars (The Meceti), Speedy Gonzales (Maina de Löa - Cafe ‘900, Class Cafe, Ice Cream Frozen), Kung Fu Panda (Borgo di Dentro).
Opening the parade, at 3 p.m., will be as is tradition the Carnival King, the official mask of Carnevalöa “U’ Beciancin On its flaming Becians Car. The other traditional mask of the Loano carnival will not be missing. “U Puè Peppin” Who will sit on the throne at the foot of the Clock of Loano.
The parade will be enhanced by the presence of the float Ballon Tour with I Buio Pesto and from the Folk Band “Cau De Noi” of Noli.
Official speaker will be the showman Gianni Rossi.
