PRESS RELEASE (9/07/2015)

Continued at Loano, the music review “Finally Friday.”, organized by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.

Friday, July 10, on the waterfront in Orto Maccagli, to the 9 p.m., the singer-songwriter  Massimo Schiavon will present his original tribute to Enzo Jannacci.

Massimo Schiavon had the pleasure and honor of collaborating with singer-songwriter Enzo Jannacci during the writing of his album “Piccolo Blu”: on the record is an unreleased song that the Milanese professor donated to Schiavon and which the latter interpreted in his always gentle and delicate way.

The song “I passi di una donna” marks a period in which the Ligurian singer-songwriter's creativity was contaminated by the mood of the Milanese school, and from these influences came songs that, along with interpretations of Jannacci's historical pieces, will be featured on this long-awaited tour.
Accompanying the artist will be his fellow musicians - Fabio Tessiore (sax and accordion), Alberto Garassino (piano and keyboards) and Matthew Ferrando (battery).
At the concert, the project will be promoted “Welcoming - Caring is the first necessary care.” of Gaslini Onlus whose Massimo Schiavon is testimonial.

Project “Welcoming - Caring is the first care needed”:

The project “Welcoming - Caring is the first necessary care.”: Since its foundation, the Gaslini Institute has believed in the values of welcoming and taking care of children and their families as a prerequisite for offering them the best care: welcoming before curing has been the philosophy that has inspired and still inspires all the professionals and employees of the Gaslini Institute in the awareness that, as H.E. Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, president of the Gerolamo Gaslini Foundation, reiterated, Taking care multiplies the effect of treatment. Applying this principle to today's Gaslini is a complex task, considering that the Institute covers more than 73,000 square meters, consists of 22 buildings, houses 500 inpatients and receives a thousand outpatients daily. To best help families and children, therefore, a multidimensional reception system has been designed to meet their different needs for information, accompaniment, social and socio-health care, multicultural for foreigners, religious multiconfessional, housing, etc. The Gaslini Institute therefore intends to offer each person, in his or her specificity, an individualized welcome that is at once physical, relational, linguistic, logistical, spiritual, and multicultural. This idea of a welcoming hospital fits fully into the general idea of a Solidary, Welcoming, Open Hospital. Safe and Networked. Gaslini onlus entirely allocates all donations it collects to the Giannina Gaslini Institute and supports this macro strategic goal of the Hospital for the coming years.

Massimo Schiavon: Ligurian by birth, he has collaborated with Enzo Jannacci, Armando Corsi and Edoardo De Angelis. An intense live activity that has seen him share the stage among others with Luca Barbarossa, Cristiano De Andrè, Bruno Lauzi, Sergio Endrigo etc. Two records by the artist: Senza Rotta 2007 and Piccolo Blu 2013.
