Saturday, August 23, a Loano, a concert of sacred music will be held by the trio Murachelli-Gollo-Arecco, organized under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
At 9:15 p.m. at Church of St. Augustine and St. Rita at Loano the trio consisting of Claudia Murachelli (soprano voice), Gianni Gollo (transverse flute) and Paola Arecco (piano) will perform a repertoire of sacred and classical pieces by Gounod, Vivaldi, Saint-Saens, Mascagni, Franck, Verdi and other composers.
Claudia Murachelli studied opera singing and piano under the guidance of organist M° Fabrizio Brezzo, and is first soprano and soprano soloist of the Amici della Musica - Città di Taggia polyphonic choir. She studied Celtic harp under the guidance of M° Marcella Grossi with whom she did an internship in Ireland in the presence of great international concert performers (Grainne Hambly, Cormac de Barra etc..). She participated in a stage of South American music for Celtic harp held by one of the most famous Paraguayan harpists, Ismael Ledesma. She boasts an intense concert activity and has also performed in France.
Paola Arecco, who graduated in 1991 in piano from the Conservatory “Nicolò Paganini” of Genoa, boasts an intense concert activity and is currently director of the inter-parish polyphonic choir of Loano and teacher of “choir workshop” for the UNITRE of Borgio Verezzi (SV). She collaborates as organist with the concert activity of the “S.Biagio” choir of Finalborgo and with numerous musicians of the local Loano scene such as saxophonist M° Davide Nari and flutist Gianni Gollo.
