PRESS RELEASE (10/07/2014)
Friday, July 11, a Loano, to the 9:30 pm, in the’Prince's Garden Summer Arena, will stop on the “Little Blue” tour” of the singer-songwriter Massimo Schiavon.
The evening, sponsored by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano aims to promote and raise funds for the “The tree house“, a project of the’Gaslini Children's Hospital To improve the care of abused and maltreated children.
Massimo Schiavon will present in the beautiful setting of the Prince's Garden his latest album “Little Blue“, released with Egea Music. The Ligurian artist's second album is a logbook of a fascinating journey to discover the deep roots of the soul. The immediate reference is to painting, and listening to the songs proceeds through the common thread of color. The various instants appear interconnected by a homogeneous feeling, a light or pictorial background that turns to blue.
On the notes of simple, catchy and effective melodies, parade “portraits,” of paintings that tell lives and stories, that reveal true everyday heroisms, that instill serene encouragement not to give up. To find, in these small ancient stories, humble examples of rare beauty. Illuminated by the same light of the soul: blue.
Massimo Schiavon was chosen as a testimonial to communicate and represent with his musical language the design intentions of the’Gaslini Children's Hospital Onlus.
The singer-songwriter from Laigueglia began collaborating with the hospital by composing “Scendi Piano,” a song that became the facility's anthem. A video clip-animated drawings (a project by Marta Delfino) was made on the song, whose characters “Little Blue and Little Blue” became the Gaslini's mascots.
In addition to disseminating the contents of the chosen project, funds aimed at the “Tree House” project will be raised during the concert, and it will be possible to purchase the record “Piccolo Blu,” part of the proceeds of which will be donated to Gaslini Children's Hospital for the development of the project.
