Hanno preso il via le online voting della quinta edizione del concorso per giovani band “Yepp Factor only for Up’n’Coming”, organized by the YEPP Group Loano with the contribution of the’Youth Policy Department of the City of Loano, of Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and of the Fondazione A. De Mari.
Sono 7 le band ammesse al concorso: 25 Degrees con il brano “Solamente”, Crimson Roses con “Heroes”, Dreamwave con “Libera”, Hairbangers con “Liar”, Keeper of Time con “My poisoned rose”, Shambling Lazybones con “That Lady”, Wefly con “La Forza”.
I demo delle band in concorso si possono ascoltare sul sito www.yepploano.it nell’apposita sezione dedicata al concorso e su youtube. Ogni gruppo ha uno spazio personale dove gli utenti possono visionare foto, biografie e ascoltare in streaming il pezzo in gara, che potrà essere votato tramite un box apposito. Le votazioni online chiuderanno alle ore 21 di domenica 11 maggio p.v.
At the end of the scheduled voting period, the organization will tally the total votes and publish the results online. Both votes collected on the official YEPP Loano website and votes collected from individual tracks on youtube will be taken into consideration.
Le 4 band più votate parteciperanno poi alla serata live, il May 24, in front of a jury technique, which will evaluate song lyrics, musical composition, stage presence, performance technique and interpretation, decreeing the winner at the end of the evening.
For the first-place group as a prize there will be a music video And participation in the 2014 edition of the festival Justenice to Justenice (date to be designated). In addition, the first three band classificate avranno la possibilità di suonare sul palco principale della YEPP Music Festival scheduled at Loano on June 14.
“Il concorso Up'n'Coming – spiega l’Assessore alle Politiche Giovanili Luca Lettieri – ha come obiettivo la promozione della produzione musicale giovanile e della musica live. Tante le band di giovani che hanno aderito all’iniziativa. Il gruppo YEPP Loano ha individuato nell’attività musicale una importante occasione di aggregazione per i giovani e attraverso i corsi e soprattutto la Musica d’Insieme viene favorita la nascita di nuove band.”{:}
