“White Night,” the renaissance festival celebrating “The Return of the Dorias,” Ivana Spagna's free concert in Piazza Italia, the “CUBO Live” review, concerts, book presentations, cabaret evenings, food and wine events, sports events, film screenings and more. These are just some of the events that will make up “Summer Vibes - Summer that makes you feel good”, the extensive calendar of events that will enliven Loano's summer 2026 and which was presented this morning at Palazzo Doria by Mayor Luca Lettieri and Deputy Mayor in charge of tourism, culture and sports Gianluigi Bocchio together with representatives of city associations.
They explain Mayor Luca Lettieri and Vice Mayor in charge of tourism, culture and sports Gianluigi Bocchio: “With ‘Summer Vibes - The summer that makes you feel good’ we wanted to build a programming able to speak to everyone: families, young people, tourists, residents, fans of music, culture, sports and traditions. Loano thus confirms itself as a lively, dynamic and attractive city, able to offer throughout the summer quality events distributed throughout the city. Our city is once again confirmed as a reference point for tourism on the Riviera, thanks to an offer that combines major events, such as the ‘Notte Bianca’, the Ivana Spagna concert, ‘CUBO Live’ and the many historical and popular events, with widespread initiatives that animate the historic center, the waterfront, Marina di Loano and the entire territory throughout the summer. This programming is also an important economic and tourism engine for the city: each event helps to support commercial activities, accommodations, public establishments and the entire induced activities related to hospitality. The goal is to offer quality experiences and encourage a tourist presence spread throughout the summer season. A special thanks goes to all the associations, operators, sponsors, law enforcement, volunteers and municipal offices that have collaborated in the realization of such an articulated calendar. Teamwork is the real added value of this Loano summer.”.
From June 12 to 14, Loano will celebrate “The return of the Dorias” and the proclamation of the free county of Loano that occurred in 1575 during the rule of Counts Zenobia Del Carretto and Gianandrea Doria. In addition to representing a faithful historical reconstruction based on original documents related to the settlement of the Doria Princes and the oath of the Lovese community in 1575, “The Return of the Dorias” will offer three days of performances, animations, historical processions, Renaissance music, ancient crafts, historical fights, falconry, jestering and cultural moments capable of involving residents and tourists in an authentic journey through the centuries.
