On January 26, a tourism workshop dedicated to the five destinations of the Western Ligurian Riviera aimed at Danish tour operators and travel agents
I Municipalities of Loano, Pietra Ligure, Finale Ligure, Varazze and Arenzano are participating together in the seventh edition of “A Glass of Italy”, an international exhibition dedicated to the promotion of Italian excellence, scheduled in Copenhagen on Monday, January 26, 2026. The event is organized by Enora, a consulting agency specializing in Italian wine exports, and by DANITACOM, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark.
Under the title “365 Days of Wonder”, the tourism workshop is dedicated to the discovery of the Riviera Ligure di Ponente and presents the five destinations as one territory, rich in complementary identities and peculiarities.
During the meeting, the distinctive characteristics of each locality will be told through four thematic strands - Culture, Nature, Outdoors and Sea - offering an authentic and comprehensive narrative of tourism offerings. Each theme will also be paired with a finger food inspired by local products and flavors with local wine tasting, in a gastronomic route curated by chef Catia Lattanzi of Finale Ligure's Osteria del Castel Gavone, to pair storytelling with a real sensory experience.
The workshop will also include the presentation of the tourist experiences most significant, of the main strengths of destinations and accommodations present, with the aim of providing operators with a concrete and operational overview useful for building future travel proposals dedicated to the Ligurian Riviera. A territory historically linked to Denmark, thanks in part to the stay in Albissola Marina of Asger Jorn, an internationally renowned Danish painter. To seal the bond, the following will be present at the event. Rune Kristensen, city councilor of Silkeborg Municipality and representative of Museum Jorn in Silkeborg.

Organized and coordinated by DEDE Destination Design, a network of enterprises specializing in the promotion, planning and management of tourist destinations, the meeting is aimed at Danish travel agents and tour operators and represents an important opportunity for International promotion and networking. For this he also counts on the cooperation of In Liguria and Ligurian Riviera Agency.
The initiative also aims to establish an initial business relationship with Danish tour operators, also with a view to a Educational Trip planned between May and June 2026 in Liguria, which will involve selected operators from the workshop participants.
Participation in the event A Glass of Italy falls within a shared exhibition planning for 2026, which sees the municipalities of Loano, Pietra Ligure, Finale Ligure, Varazze, and Arenzano engaged in a united path of promotion in national and international markets.
In fact, the 2026 calendar also includes a presence at the BIT in Milan (February 10-12, 2026), at the Salon du Randonneur in Lyon (March 20-22, 2026) and at the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini (Oct. 14-16, 2026), as well as additional marketing actions and B2B meetings in foreign markets.
A shared program that confirms the willingness of the five destinations to present themselves in a coordinated way, strengthening the territory's competitiveness and capacity for dialogue with international operators and buyers.
