Saturday, August 10, a Loano, the Dance will again be featured in the program of the Prince's Garden, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano e curated by the I.So THeatre with the artistic direction of Luca Malvicini.
At 9:30 pm, summer arena will host the new work of the Ariston Pro Ballet Company “From Darkness to Light” with choreography by Marcello Algeri.
The performance uses choreographic expression to evoke emotions through different frameworks and topics. Three Paintings by the master Caravaggio will come alive, accompanying artists and audiences on a journey toward the light, from darkness and from the desert of violence, mafia, and war will be born the strength to undertake a true change to get to the light that is represented by the garden Of peace and hope. Movement and music, will give rise to pleasure and discomfort, between lights, shadows, strong impressions and ruinous falls ... and give the right atmosphere where everyone can find the canons to rediscover himself. The music will come to life thanks to the work and sensibility of two DJs (Luke Joker and Simoj) who, live on stage, will “mix” all the songs, transmitting their vital energy to the soundtrack.
La Company Ariston Proballet of San Remo, recognized by the MIBAC Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali in Rome, is based at the Ariston Theater in Sanremo, Proballet Performing Art Center 1 and 2 and Albano Performing arts center Harthford Connecticut. A Comprehensive Choreographic Research and Production Center, Ariston Proballet tours Italy, France, Germany, countries of the former Yugoslavia, Russia, and the United States of America each year. The company has obtained AIDAP recognition and collaborates with the ILO-UN Institute in Geneva, the University of Florence and the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana. Many important collaborations are with the San Remo, Verona and Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, as well as with Albano Connecticut Ballet USA, Steps on Broadway New York, Perry dance New York, Manhattan dance center New York and Jennifer Muller's Company.
