Back on the Loano shoreline is the initiative Beach in sports, organized by the Bagni Nettuno and Bagni Virginia, under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
From the’August 8 at Aug. 22, On the beaches of the Neptunes and Virginians, will return the tournaments of beach soccer (soccer in the sand), bocce ball, beach volleyball, table soccer, and ladder 40.
“The tournament organized by the Neptune and Virginia baths," says the Councillor for Tourism, Culture and Sports, Remo Zaccaria - has now become a classic of the Loano beach season. The initiative, which was also created to raise funds for The Italian Association Against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma., every year gathers the support of many tourists and residents, who gather on the beach to experience as protagonists the sports challenges proposed by the organizers.”
Opening the initiative will be Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 9 with the Torneo by beach-soccer involving boys under 13. From 10 a.m., in the field of Virginia Baths the athletic swimmers will compete in multiple rounds in Italian style.
Aug. 9-11, from the hours 15.00, in the Neptune Bathrooms will take place on “He & She” Bocce Tournament. Saturday, Aug. 10, always in the Neptune Baths, Night in Sports. Starting with the 8 p.m. you will get into the thick of the Mixed table soccer and beach volleyball tournament.
The August 10 and 11 in the Virginia Baths will take place on Table soccer tournament open to Under 13. The race is scheduled from the hours 10.00.
From Aug. 12 to 17, will be the turn of the 4vs4 Beach Volleyball Tournament - “VIIth Edoardo Beccuti Memorial” reserved for the over-16s, which will be played every afternoon and evening on August 13 and 16, in the Neptune Bathrooms. Final Saturday, August 17. Also the under 13 will be able to play Beach Volleyball, the August 14 and 15, in the Virginia Baths, from the 10.00.
Sunday, August 18 and Monday, August 19, the program of Beach in Sports will offer bathers the opportunity to participate in the Torneo of scale 40, to be held in the Virginia Baths from 15.
Finally from the Aug. 19 to 22, from the 8 p.m., in the Neptune Bathrooms, will be held on the Tournament Of beach-volleyball 2-on-2, which will award the VI° Clock Trophy and the 4th Memorial A. Riva.
On the seaside promenade overlooking the Neptune and Virginia baths, there will also be a front row seat for those who just want to watch the sports performances.
