Thursday, August 1, the Marina of Loano will host a new round of the Port Thursday, promoted by the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano in collaboration with the Agency Here we are.
From 9 p.m, the three music stations will come alive with the Little Zingaro Orchestra, Massimo Spinetti, Mr. Griotto & Romantos Vocalist.
Italian folk music, mixed with the sounds, rhythms and harmonies of jazz, particularly those of the Northern European gypsy-swing of the 1930s-40s, will be offered by the Little Zingaro Orchestra. The quartet of multi-instrumentalists (Mario Cau-kua, voice-guitar, Marco Moro, flute-accordion, Danilo Bergamelli, brushes and snare drum, Mauro Demoro, double bass) will perform songs inspired by Renato Carosone, Fred Buscaglione, Paolo Conte, Domenico Modugno, and musicians who shaped European swing including Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. The Zingarò with a simple and effective acoustic sound will take the audience on a musical journey through time.
Massimo Spinetti will give the classic piano bar notes, interpreting songs of his own composition and covers of the most famous hits of songwriting.
Mr. Griotto & Romantos Vocalist will present a high-impact and creative musical repertoire that embraces almost all musical genres: in fact, the sounds range from Jazz, Swing to Pop, from noble Italian melodrama to ethnic folk, all through the choice of songs that address the great internationally known compositions, arranged in a completely new way. The performance includes some of the most famous evergreen standards interpreted in a bold and daring key, instrumental versions and interweaving vocal harmonies in new and enthralling versions.{:}
