Friday, July 19, a Loano, the second edition of the initiative “Italian Night”, promoted by the’Old Loano Association and from the’A.S.T.L. LiguriaWebTv under the auspices of the’Department of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the City of Loano.
The focus of the initiative will be fashion, music and products of gastronomy, all strictly “made in Italy”. From 16.00 late into the night, the Italian Night will offer musical entertainment, shopping and tasting of typical products.
Thirteen in all musical stations. Main events of the evening will be the special guest of Cristina D'Avena expected at Florida bar from 20.00 and the performance of the Italian Cover at Vittorino bar from 21.00.
Provided, moreover, by the 9 p.m, in fortress square the tribute to the great female voices of jazz performed by the band Sophisticated Lady, as part of the review Finally Friday, promoted by the’Tourism Department of the City of Loano.
Protagonists of the concert will be Simona Briozzo (voice), Loris Tarantino (piano), Dino Cerruti (double bass), Leonardo Saracino (drums). The evening's repertoire will range from well-known standards.
The heart of the event will be the stands set up on the promenade and in the Loano Marina with regional food and wine products (D.O.C. and I.g.p.). Local products of excellence will come from Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, Campania, Calabria, Apulia, Sicily, Sardinia and of course Liguria.
Also on the waterfront, near the Sea workers' cottage, the Summer musculature, organized by the Brotherhood of the Turks, which will also continue Saturday, July 20. In the steel pan will be cooked among the nine and the 12 quintals of muscle. The recipe is a traditional Ligurian one and in particular that of the Loano fishermen. The muscles will be flavored with cherry tomatoes, garlic, parsley, extra virgin olive oil and white wine local.
The Loano promenade will be decked out with the tricolor, and numerous performance areas dedicated to Italian music will be set up in the city center and the Loano Marina: jazz sounds at the Ice Square, on the Francheville Pier with the Combarin, rock at Bar ‘900 with the band Shadow Line and Liftiba tribute, rock at Bar Passion and Bar Class with the Blasco Mania and the Vasco Rossi tribute, pop at Bar Rino, Bar Gipsy and Bar Queeny with Armo'nia Ensemble, Italian music at the Hi-Fi Bar with Saints.
In Massena Square will play the pop band Run Like Hell, in Ghilini Street will perform Paul Bortolotti, in via Stella will sing Ray Fiore, in the square Palestro will play Turn Around. Finally, at the Central Bar, in Italy Square, there will be from the 18.00, music with the DJ Tino.{:}
